Everyone Is After My Nuts – Woodpecker Wildlife Artwork

A woodpecker clings confidently to the tree, alert and watchful, with the unmistakable air of a bird protecting something valuable. Its bold markings and sharp profile emerge from the surrounding woodland colour and texture.

The title, Everyone Is After My Nuts, adds a little humour to a familiar garden rivalry. Birds, squirrels and anyone else passing through all seem to have designs on the same carefully guarded supply.

The artwork began with a photograph taken while walking with Vera, my German Shepherd. It was carefully developed through colour, texture and expressive mark-making to create a unique, one-of-one wildlife artwork.

The piece is presented in a solid light-oak frame with a clean white mount and real glass. It comes ready to hang, accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity and a personal note telling the story behind the work.

One walk. One artwork. No editions.
