Red in the Meadow – Poppy Botanical Artwork

£65.00

A single red poppy rises through the quieter meadow grasses, its fragile petals creating an intense point of colour among the softer greens and natural tones.

Poppies have long been associated with remembrance, sleep and renewal. Despite their delicate appearance, they flourish in disturbed ground—appearing unexpectedly where the earth has been broken and beginning again.

Red in the Meadow began with a photograph taken while walking with Vera, my German Shepherd. It was carefully developed through colour, texture and expressive mark-making to create a unique, one-of-one botanical artwork.

The piece is presented in a light-oak studio frame with a clean white mount and real glass. It comes ready to hang, accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity and a personal note telling the story behind the work.

One walk. One artwork. No editions.
